Our Prospecteur 15 is the little sibling to our Prospecteur 16 and Prospecteur 17 canoes. With a traditional Chestnut Prospector inspired design it is a stable yet sporty canoe that handles rough conditions and a good-sized load. Ideal as a whitewater capable and compact wilderness tripper, and for couples looking to go exploring on weekends. Also, a VERY capable solo expedition canoe. You'll find the Prospecteur 15 in T-formex to be very practical for the paddler that needs a versatile two-person canoe that is fun to paddle solo.  This is the lighter weight tandem canoe with lifetime durability.  Balance and maneuverability are excellent for the solo paddler while facing center in the bow seat. When compared to other canoe materials,T-formex is VERY Heavy Duty and provides much more durbility for many more years. In our experience T-formex slides over shallow rocky areas with much less damage AND retains its shape better than other canoes.
