This Kingfisher includes our optional extra Angler Package, as shown, with 2 SuperSeat -backrests with padded seat cushions, 2 Omega rodholders -with VersiGunwale adapters and Anchor system with VersiGunwale anchor cleat. Kingfisher offers a unique blend of excellent stability and easy paddling in a size that provides more room for kids or gear but can still be handled solo. Extra fullness throughout the middle gives this canoe extra capacity along with rock solid stability. The bow and stern height are kept low to catch less wind but with lots of overall volume for capacity and riding over boat wakes. 2 web seats keep you centered in the canoe and provide versatile seating.  Our comfortable SuperSeats are easily added to the existing seats, these provide a padded seat and supportive backrest while you paddle.  SuperSeats can face either direction and they are quickly removed for cartopping.Go paddling for the day OR for a weekend.Go as a family OR solo.Paddle the ponds, lakes, creeks, and easy rivers...Your new Wenonah Kingfisher is so light and so stable, Yes, you can do it all. Since youngsters are light, they find it to be a fine paddling canoe that is also safe on waves due to its good depth.Adults, however, like the Kingfisher for wildlife viewing, star-gazing, or other uses that do not include big waves, heavy loads, or long travel.  Older folks landlocked by the bulk of their old plastic or fiberglass canoe will be able to continue their passion out on the water with our Kevlar ultralight at just 39 lbs.Our Kingfisher is easily used by one OR two people for recreation paddling, hunting or fishing. At 16ft the Kingfisher is a good option for the occasional solo paddler.  If you face the other way on the bow seat you will be not too far from center in most conditions.  In windy conditions you may want to adjust gear.  OR add a Coghlans water jug to the forward end for better balance. (You can also ask us to add a center seat or kneeling thwart to this canoe for even more versatile solo paddling.) Kingfisher has good depth and volume in the center with fine entry at both ends. Ample free-board is maintained when loaded with gear for the day or weekend.Kevlar Ultralight and a versatile layout makes the Kingfisher not too large for a relaxing afternoon paddle in tandem OR solo mode.
